Expanding Programming at DCS

Every year DCF sends funds to the Dublin Consolidated School to enhance the educational program.

We send money for the Hats and Boots Fund, for kids whose winter equipment I outgrown or non-existent. We help with scholarships and transportation for the annual winter ski program. Our biggest funding efforts support an annual artist-in-residence program. These experiences vary each year. Sometimes an artist comes to make art with everybody at school for a week, and you can see some of the beautiful creations on the walls at the school. Last year we funded the Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures, and this year the NHDI residency program returns. Both of these residencies feature a performance for the community at the end of the week.

If you have never been to the school to see one of these, you are missing a moving experience. Watching children shine as they demonstrate new skills is heartwarming.
